INFORMATION COLLECTION & USE

Conversational.Space collects and uses data to provide better and personalized services and to send communications, which includes general updates, upcoming workshops, new articles, and promotional items. The website is hosted on Squarespace. Here is Squarespace’s privacy policy.

MAILING LIST

Conversational.Space uses Flodesk, a third-party service provider, to collect and store personal information. When you subscribe to the Conversational.Space mailing list, your name and email address are collected. Here is Flodesk’s privacy policy.

MEDIA

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

CONTACT FORMS

If you fill out the contact form we will use the information provided to respond to your message, comments, and questions. We do not use this information for marketing purposes.

COOKIES

Cookies are files with small pieces of data that our website stores on your web browser.

If you leave a comment on our Site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment.

We may also be required by law, in connection with legal proceedings or in order to establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights, to disclose your information to regulatory authorities, law enforcement officers, and courts.

HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
